Regional Medical Assistant Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity in the Community Medical Group for a Medical Assistant supporting our offices in Holden, West Boylston, Sterling, Clinton, Leominster, Fitchburg, and Harvard.

This (40) hour, fully benefited regional float position offers a generous differential plus base pay.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm or 8:30 am - 5 pm.

This position involves working at multiple locations within the region as needed.

Requirements: Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation.

$3000 SIGN ON BONUS AND $3/HR SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL

Major Responsibilities:
  1. Escort patients, record vital signs, and monitor patient progress following standard procedures.
  2. Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and Point of Care tests.
  3. Prepare and administer non-intravenous injections as directed.
  4. Assist in routine physical examinations and clinical procedures.
  5. Review lab results and alert physicians to abnormal findings.
Position Qualifications:
License/Certification/Education:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current BLS or Heart Saver certification from the American Heart Association (obtain within 3 months if not available at hire).
  • Medical Assistant credential approved by the Massachusetts Department of Health (ARMA, NHA, etc.), obtained within 1 year of hire.
Medical Assistant II Requirements:

Must already have the Medical Assistant certification or registration prior to start date.
