MetroPartners Obstetrics & Gynecology P.A. is comprised of experienced practitioners who have extensive backgrounds in the care of women of all ages and are committed to providing compassionate, competent care at all times with respect for our patient’s health care concerns and individuality. Our main offices are located in Maplewood, MN. We also have an offices in Woodbury and Mendota Heights/Lilydale MN, and this candidate will need to be open to working in all locations.

We are looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to join our team. Willing and able to get Certification within 12 months.

Position Summary

Greet and room patients in a prompt, professional manner while rendering the highest possible level of care.

Clinical

Under the direction of a provider, the medical assistant will perform chemical, microscopic, gynecologic, hematological, parasitic and bacteriologic tests for use in treatment and diagnosis of disease. The medical assistant will provide support to providers and patients with respect to rooming patients, assisting with in-office procedures, performing phlebotomy, and giving injections as necessary.

Teamwork is essential for the efficiency and success of the clinical and scheduling environment at MetroPartners Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.A.

Qualifications

CPR Certified

Phlebotomy Certification is a plus

CMA, RMA

Must be able to work at least 32 - 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Work requires standing/walking/sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. while handling patients, medical equipment and supplies. Must have the ability to react and perform in stressful situations and move quickly throughout the clinic.
