Job Description
Shift Schedule: Per Diem, Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM (must be available to work 2 days a week)
Location: Baltimore Washington Medical Center
Under supervision of the on-site provider, assists in patient care delivery, performs delegated medical tasks, supports providers and nursing staff, and may handle clerical duties. Utilizes EMR for documentation. Access to medication storage and transport is required. Participates in daily operations, acts as a resource, and demonstrates leadership through teamwork, communication, accountability, and clinical skills.
Primary Responsibilities
The following describes general duties and is not exhaustive:
Clinical Duties: Gather and document patient history, perform vital signs, assist with procedures, perform routine tests, provide patient education, disinfect equipment, restock supplies, ensure equipment readiness, deliver patient-centered care, participate in skill development, and administer medications under supervision.
Administrative Duties: Assist with front desk operations, communicate delays or barriers, review business communications, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
