Job summary

Peachtree Immediate Care in Lithonia, GA seeks a Medical Assistant (CMA/EMT/LPN) to join the Lithonia region. This full-time role involves 3x12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, and a regional float across Lithonia, Morrow, and South Covington locations. Ideal candidates are CMA, LPN, or EMT with a patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (certification preferred).
• Licensed as an LPN or EMT.

Responsibilities

• Assist medical providers with patient care, exams, and minor procedures.
• Perform vital signs and document patient information.
• Conduct lab tests and wound care as directed.
• Maintain exam rooms and medical equipment in a clean, safe condition.
• Support occupational health services and radiographic imaging where applicable.
• Ensure high levels of patient comfort and address questions.

Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (certification preferred) or licensed as an LPN or EMT.
• Reliable transportation to travel between regional locations.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in a team.
• Comfort in a fast-paced, urgent care setting with varied medical responsibilities.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient or clinical setting (preferred but not required).
• Modern, well-equipped urgent care centers with a clean and professional setting.
• Hands-on, patient-facing role with a direct impact on patient health and well-being.
• Possible exposure to illnesses and medical situations typical of a healthcare environment.
