Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Parkside Recovery Program in Germantown, Philadelphia, PA, to join our outpatient drug and alcohol treatment team. The role involves preparing examination rooms, maintaining patient flow, charting, and assisting providers in examinations within a compassionate recovery-focused setting.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, a valid Medical Assistant certification, and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification
• Minimum of one (1) year working as a medical assistant, preferably in behavioral health.
• Must be able to work: Monday-Friday, 6:30-3:00 pm

We are seeking Medical Assistant to join our team at our Parkside Recovery Program in our Germantown location in Philadelphia, PA location.

The Medical Assistant will:

• prepare rooms for examination
• maintain steady flow of individuals in medical department
• prepare electronic charts for providers
• assist providers with the examination of individuals
• measure vital signs
• draw and collect bodily fluids, prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• respond to medical emergencies
• complete EKGs
• complete required documentation in a timely manner

Earn $19.24 per hour (40 hrs per week)
