Job summary

Mansoor Khan MD SC is seeking a dependable Medical Assistant to support daily clinical and administrative operations. You will prepare for patient visits by pulling charts, assist with surveys, and help maintain smooth patient flow and accurate documentation.

You will work closely with our healthcare provider to ensure timely lab reporting, order entry via EMR, and clear communication with patients about their care and next steps.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
• Assist our nurse practitioner and doctor with basic medical care and procedures
• Track lab results, send prescriptions via EMR, and handle basic medical office duties (E-Clinical Works)
• Lab Work: Collect, label, and process specimens or blood samples for external testing.
