Job summary

CONNECTICUT REGIONAL PAIN SPEC is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. You will prepare for patient visits by organizing charts, pulling notes, and setting up equipment, while providing routine support to nurses and doctors.

You will track test results, assist with minor procedures, manage medical supplies, and keep rooms clean. The ideal candidate has strong customer service, a willingness to learn, and prior office experience.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or CMA is desirable.

Job Summary

As a Medical Assistant, you will be preparing for each patient visit by preparing charts and pulling notes before their arrival, providing routine support alongside nurses and medical staff, and assisting with keeping track of tests and lab reporting to ensure everything arrives on time and the patient is kept informed on their condition and care. You will also be helping manage the inventory of medical supplies, setting up machines and testing equipment, and cleaning instruments and rooms as needed. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working medical environment, and has previous office experience.
