Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Basic Life Support within 1 month of hire.

• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and organizes patient visits with required tests and records for clinician review.
• Documents data in the EMR and uses KP HealthConnect and tools for care coordination.
• Assists with clinical procedures, rooming patients and ensuring equipment and supplies are ready.
• Manages patient messages and follow-ups, scheduling tests, referrals and visits as directed.
