Job summary

Swedish Health Services DBA Swedish Medical Group in Redmond, WA is seeking Medical Assistants/MA-Cs to join our on-site clinical teams. The MA-II role supports licensed practitioners to deliver patient care and may include on-call, part-time, or full-time shifts across day, evening, night, or variable schedules.

Responsibilities include assisting with administrative tasks, taking vital signs, and performing delegated clinical duties within policy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant including vital signs, injections, and medication administration
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
• 6 months healthcare experience
• 6 months medical assistant experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling appointments and updating patient information in EPIC
• Take patient vital signs at appointments
• Support clinical tasks under the delegation of a licensed practitioner
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure patient-focused care
