Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Must obtain Kaiser Permanente Medication Administration Competency within 90 days of employment.

• Demonstrated literacy in using computers and keyboarding.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and organizes patients' office visits for known reason/procedure with all tests and records ready for clinician review.
• Collects subjective and objective data related to patient visit.
• Uses KP HealthConnect and other systems to document care and outcomes.
• Maintains clinicians' patient schedules for efficient flow and overbooking when appropriate.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new hires and validates peers' clinical skills.
