Job summary

Providence PACE seeks a Medical Assistant to work with the nursing team and PCP to provide basic patient care and support administrative and clinical duties. The MA will follow established policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure safe, compassionate care.

In this role you will collaborate across care teams, assist with patient flow, collect vitals, and complete routine tasks supporting the mission of patient-focused, whole-person care at Providence.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Medical Assistant program including an externship or two years of US Armed Forces medical training.
• Phlebotomy training within curriculum or completed within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
• Minimum of 6 months healthcare experience.
• Minimum of 6 months Medical Assistant experience.

Education

Medical Assistant program (with externship) or two years of US Armed Forces medical training

Phlebotomy program or allied health program with phlebotomy training

National Medical Assistant Certification

American Heart Association BLS Certification
