Job summary

Qualifications

• One (1)+ year experience in a medical setting, dermatology preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Medical Assistant certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as patient advocate during exam and treatment.
• Interview patients to obtain information and measure vital signs.
• Show patients to examination or procedure rooms and prepare them.
• Record medical history, medications, allergies and test results.
• Assist with injections and remove sutures as directed.
• Explain procedures and wound care to patients; maintain HIPAA.
• Prepare rooms for examinations and keep equipment clean.
