PeaceHealth is seeking a Medical Assistant for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range is $25.41 – $35.18 per hour. This role involves collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver patient care within the MA scope of practice.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, room setup, injections, wound care, data entry, and scheduling. Must have an accredited program and MOA certification eligibility; BLS required. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent; MOA pathway may be considered.
• 1+ year experience in a medical office preferred.
• If required, national med. assisting certification (AAMA/AMT/NCCT etc.) or MOA pathway.

Responsabilités

• Prepares patients for examination and treatment; records history and vital signs.
• Prepares exam rooms; maintains supplies and equipment.
• Assists with injections, splints, wound care as ordered.
• Manages patient files and data entry into EMR.
• Schedules tests and follow-up appointments; collaborates with healthcare team.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
