Job summary

Mercy is seeking Medical Assistants to support providers in a busy clinic setting. The role includes direct and indirect patient care, precise documentation, and administrative duties to keep daily operations smooth and compliant with Mercy standards.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, attend the MA Clinic Academy, and obtain BLS within 90 days. Prior primary care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training.
• Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in clinic workflow and assists with patient assessments.
• Documents subjective and objective data per policy.
• Demonstrates patient safety techniques and infection control.
• Works with clinic team to achieve daily objectives.
