Job summary

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, EKGs, and lab specimens per MA competencies.
• Assist in documenting notes, orders in the Electronic Medical Record with supervising physician.
• Prepare and maintain the clinic area: clean, stock rooms, secure laptops, maintain diagnostic equipment.
• Return routine patient calls for prescriptions or pre-certifications with documentation.
• Coordinate ancillary services and obtain pertinent medical records.
• Maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor with patients, staff and management.
