Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, EKGs, and other information for proper evaluation.
• Assist the provider in documenting notes, orders and prescriptions in the EMR.
• Prepare and maintain the clinic area: exam rooms, equipment, and supplies.
• Return routine patient calls for prescription refills or pre-certifications.
• Coordinate ancillary services such as tests, imaging, and admissions.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor in all interactions.
