Job summary

CarolinaEast Health System in North Carolina seeks a Medical Assistant to support physicians with patient care and various clerical, environmental and organizational tasks. Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of recent Medical Assistant experience
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or will obtain CMA within first year of employment
• Maintains BLS certification
• Delivers outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma.
• Graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants, or one year of work experience as a Clinical Medical Assistant within the last 3 years.
• Has obtained certification and is currently a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or obtains certification within the first year of employment.
• Maintains BLS certification.
