Job summary

CarolinaEast Health System seeks a Medical Assistant to support physicians with patient care and clerical tasks in our New Bern clinic. You will help with appointment scheduling, chart management, and provide patients with information about clinic services.

Applicants should have CMA certification or be willing to obtain it within the first year, possess a high school diploma, and maintain BLS certification. A sign-on bonus is offered for qualified full-time candidates.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma.
• Graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants, or one year of work experience as a Clinical Medical Assistant within the last 3 years.
• Has obtained certification and is currently a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or obtains certification within the first year of employment.
• Maintains BLS certification.
