Olympic Medical Center on Washington’s North Olympic Peninsula is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for our outpatient clinic. You will perform clinical, clerical, and administrative tasks under a provider’s supervision to support patient care.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, and WA Medical Assistant certification. BLS is required within 30 days; outpatient clinic experience is preferred.

Under the supervision and direction of a provider (physician or advanced practice clinician) or Medical Office Nurse Coordinator, the certified Medical Assistant performs duties that are consistent with his/her Medical Assistant education, training, experience and certification.Education• High school diploma/GED required• Completion of Medical Assistant program accredited or approved by the Washington Department of Health requiredExperienceOne year of experience in health care in an outpatient clinic preferred (experience specific to the type of clinic being hired for is preferred)Licensure/Credentials• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.• Current Medical Assistant – Certification issued by the WA State Department of Health.
