An established industry player in healthcare is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their OB-GYN team. This full-time position involves supporting both administrative and clinical needs, ensuring patient care and compliance with regulatory standards. Supports administrative and clinical requirements of physicians and other licensed medical staff. Assists in obtaining patient vital signs, updates patient’s charts, compiles related statistical data, and ensures compliance with policy, procedures, and regulatory standards such as JCAHO. Responsible for administering care to clinic patients, including adults, geriatrics, and pediatric patients from newborns through adolescence, under supervision of physicians and licensed staff.

Minimum Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program with certification (CMA or RMA from recognized organizations). BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Successful completion of system requirements within one month of employment, including medication administration, AED, and phlebotomy classes and examinations.
Physical Requirements: Ability to see, hear, read, and operate clinical equipment; capable of moving throughout the facility; able to stand, walk, bend, and lift; potential contact with infectious materials.
Licenses and Certifications: BLS from the American Heart Association.
