We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Patient Centered Medical Home Team! You will work closely with our Pediatricians to provide medical care to our patients.

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Patient Centered Medical Home Team! You will work closely with our Pediatricians to provide medical care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Care for patients aged newborn to 18 years
• Perform tests ordered by providers or as indicated from Standing Orders
• Collaborate with physicians and/or ARNPs to provider childhood immunizations and other basic pediatric care
• Triage patients, take and record vitals, vaccines, therapeutic injections, breathing treatments
• Comfortable with using Electronic Medical Record
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous medical office experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Registered Medical Assisting License, clear and active
• BLS certification, active
