Swedish Health Services DBA Swedish Medical Group in Seattle, WA is seeking Medical Assistants at MA II level for on-call, part-time, and full-time opportunities across day, evening, night, or variable shifts.

As an MA II you work under a licensed practitioner to perform duties that support patient care and demonstrate competence in clinic-specific tasks while following established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces or.
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant with clinical skills including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• 6 months healthcare experience.
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience.

The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants Or

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range: $26.47 - $40.49
