Job summary

CenterPoint Health - Winchester is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for our General Surgery team. The role is Full Time, daytime schedule, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm EST, at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, KY.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma and an accredited Medical Assisting program. CMA/CCMA/RMA certification and current BLS within 30 days of hire are required. Join a supportive, patient-centered team with growth opportunities.

How you'll contribute

• Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.
• Take vital signs, document patient history, and update electronic health records (EHR)
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and administering medications or injections
• Perform basic lab tasks, prepare specimens, and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms
• Support front office and patient care coordination, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient education

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred. Additional requirements include:

• CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification required
• Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
