WakeMed Health & Hospitals seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care under a physician's supervision. The role supports the practice's mission and values and collaborates with other medical professionals to deliver quality patient care.
Required certification includes CMA options such as AAMA, AMT, ARMA and NCCT. A high school diploma or equivalent is required to qualify for this role in Wake County, North Carolina.
Works interdependently with other medical professionals to provide quality health care to the patient. Provides direct patient care under the direction of a physician by performing specific services in caring for the personal needs and comforts of the patient. Understands the needs of the practice and supports the mission and values. The required certification must be one of the following: American Academy of Medical Assistants, American Medical Technologists, American Registry of Medical Assistants and the National Center for Competency Testing.
