Job summary

A healthcare provider in the Tri-Cities Area is seeking candidates for Associate Medical Assistant and Medical Assistant roles. You will assist in providing patient care, report to a Practice Manager, and require qualifications such as relevant training and medical assistant certification. Additional benefits include a $1,000 sign-on bonus. The position has a pay range of $19.10 - $28.60 per hour. Openings are available in clinics across Richland, Kennewick, Pasco, and West Richland.

Qualifications

Overview

The MA II works under the delegation of a Practice Manager and/or Provider to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for the assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. This position may require floating to other clinics.

Home Clinic

Open positions are located at various clinics across the Tri‑Cities Area including Richland, Kennewick, Pasco, and West Richland. We will discuss current open positions and your preferences during the interview.

Job Skills

• Taking patient vital signs
• Update patient medical records including medications, allergies, and other information
• Utilize a variety of clinical skills including injection administration, assisting in‑office medical procedures, specimen collection, and point‑of‑care lab testing.

Associate Medical Assistant

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training and graduate of an accredited school that includes hands‑on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
• Coursework/Training and graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
• Coursework/Training and has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
• Coursework/Training and minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
• Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0‑6 months)

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast‑paced environment.
• 6 months previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Associate Medical Assistant Salary Range, SE Washington: Min: $19.89, Max: $29.81

Medical Assistant

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training and has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces

• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification

• 6 months of healthcare experience
