UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics in Monroeville and White Oak is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support pediatric offices. Weekend availability is required to support the hours of operation.

Rate and title will be determined based on education and experience. The role involves performing vitals and labs, assisting with exams, preparing rooms, scheduling, and maintaining records under HIPAA and CLIA guidelines.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior pediatric office experience strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology required.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire required.

• Compliance: Follow HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and state health regulations; maintain confidentiality and clinical competencies.
• Patient Interaction: Support patients with mobility, specimen collection, and provide education as needed.
• Medication: Administer injections and vaccines under physician supervision, following safety protocols.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances
