Job summary

Salud Family Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for a temporary assignment in a busy clinic. You will welcome patients, take vitals, and document visits while supporting physicians, NPs, or PAs. A formal Medical Assistant training program and MA certification are required, with certification completed within specified timelines.

The role offers a full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, 8 am–5 pm, and competitive hourly pay with robust benefits under Salud’s extensive plan.

Qualifications

• The ability to work with people from all walks of life and to meet them in their place of need.
• AMedical Assistant certification/registration within 3 months of hire; must be certified within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients as the first point of contact and assist during visits.
• Obtain vitals and document patient information clearly in charts.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment for patients and staff.
