Virginia Mason Franciscan Health seeks a Medical Assistant to help the clinical team run smoothly and keep patient care seamless. You will lead chart preparation, obtain vital signs, and support examinations under supervision.

You will perform phlebotomy, basic lab work, EKGs and injections, document in EMR, and coordinate referrals with other departments. Empathy, efficiency, and teamwork are essential to success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED at hire.
• Medical Assistant certification WA or equivalent.
• BLS CPR certification as required by AHA.
• Ability to obtain/verify patient information and records.
• Experience with EMR systems is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greets patients, prepares for visits, records vital signs and data.
• Performs basic lab work, phlebotomy, EKGs, and administers medications as directed.
• Documents visits and procedures in the EMR per policy.
• Reviews documentation for accuracy and consistency.
• Prepares, sterilizes instruments, maintains exam rooms and supplies.
• Schedules appointments and referrals across departments.
