LCMC Health, a Louisiana-based health system, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and licensed staff in managing patient flow, scheduling procedures, and coordinating care across departments. You will contribute to a safe, efficient environment of care and help the team deliver exceptional patient experiences.

Required: High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) with Basic Life Support (BLS).

Formación

• Knowledge of general medical terminology and hospital policies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain accurate patient medical records.
• Basic computer and data entry skills (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Analytical skills to determine priorities and multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Responsabilidades

• Assists physicians, providers and licensed staff in patient flow and care environment.
• Handles phone messaging, scheduling and authorization of procedures, surgeries and deliveries.
• Performs non-clinical tasks to support daily operations and environment of care.
