Job summary

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a Medical Assistant for Burleson Primary Care. The MA will assist in preparing and delivering patient care under the supervision of a Physician or APP, following established clinical policies and procedures.

This role requires a high school diploma, either MA program completion or current MA certification, and CPR certification. National certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant (MA) program or current MA certification required.
• National certification preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• The Medical Assistant works under the clinical supervision of the Physician/APP in a primary care practice.
• Assists in the preparation and delivery of patient care as directed by the provider and licensed clinical staff.
• Per established policies and procedures, performs clinical duties safely and consistently.
