Job summary

Baxter Health in Mountain Home, AR seeks a Medical Assistant for the BRMC Pulmonology Clinic. This full-time day shift (Mon-Thu 8a-5p and Fri 8a-12p) supports the provider with administrative and clinical duties.

Responsibilities include scheduling, medical records, billing and coding for insurance, taking vital signs and histories, and preparing patients for examinations. Education and experience as listed are preferred, with CNA as a plus.

Qualifications

SUMMARY: Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a provider, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing and coding information for insurance purposes, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, and preparing patients for examination.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Minimum two (2) years’ related work experience preferred. Previous medical office experience preferred.

Other: Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Basic computer knowledge required.

Preferred: Certified Nurse Assistant
