Full Year Job Opportunity with America's Largest Dermatology Practice

Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery is seeking individuals interested in a medical career for our year-long internship and medical assistant position. The position is ideal for students in their "bridge year" who are graduating or have graduated from undergraduate school and have not yet applied or been accepted to medical school. This elite program is in its 18th year, with most graduates moving on to successful careers as physicians or physician assistants.

The position is typically available starting May 2025 for June 2025 (summer graduates). Immediate hire options are available. This is a full-year commitment; please apply only if you are available for twelve months.

Please note: Applicants currently applying to medical school for the class of September 2025 are not eligible. Only apply if you have completed your undergraduate degree by June 2025 or earlier.

This is a paid, full-time internship with Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery. We aim to provide comprehensive medical assistant training and hands-on dermatology experience. Reliable transportation is required, as the role involves moving between offices/practices. Housing is not provided. Applicants must have graduated or will be graduating this year.

Multiple applicants will be accepted; currently, there are 10 highly qualified participants in this year's group.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the physician with patient care duties, including triage, EMR data entry, prescriptions, biopsy prep and cleanup, surgical assisting, and post-procedure cleanup.
• Engage with hundreds of patients weekly, developing essential skills for a medical career and learning dermatology basics.

The weekly time commitment is approximately 30-40 hours. Benefits such as health, dental, and vision are offered for full-time employees.
