Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Triage patients by conducting vitals, assessments, and appropriate procedures.
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff.
• Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures.
• Escort patients to exam rooms.
• Take patients' vitals and enter them into the patients' electronic chart.
• Conduct procedures within scope and draw blood when needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields.
• Familiarity with medical office procedures.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Completion of medical assistant training program required.
• Minimum of one year experience in an outpatient medical clinic.
• E-clinical works experience is highly preferred, EMR experience is a must.
