About the Position

The Bilingual English/Spanish OB/GYN Medical Assistant at Legacy Community Health assists providers in all exams and minor office procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining supply inventory in exam rooms, as well as cleaning and sterilizing equipment. Additionally, you may be required to give injections and draw blood.

Location: Legacy Northline Clinic - 5598 North Freeway, Houston TX 77076

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vital signs, height, and weight to record in medical records.
  • Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens; log and prepare them for testing.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and treatments, including handing instruments and materials, administering injections, and removing sutures.
  • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies properly.
  • Conduct phone consultations with patients regarding test results and health concerns.
Shift Schedule
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
