Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Medical Assistant for Behavioral Health in Romeoville, IL. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a hybrid schedule (one day remote after 90 days in the office).

You will assist with registration, vitals, and physician support in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. Responsibilities include immunizations (where certified), lab testing (EKG, PFT, glucose, urine pregnancy), and EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or related health sciences coursework.
• Active MA certification through AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA preferred.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain on hire.
• Phlebotomy certification within 90 days of hire may be required.
• Experience as MA/CMA/CNA/EMT or 2 yrs in medical office assisting.
• Experience using Epic EMR is preferred.
• Healthcare grads in health sciences welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, assist with registration, scheduling, vitals and history.
• Support physicians during exams, minor procedures, dressings, first aid.
• Assist with immunizations or injections when certified.
• Process prescriptions, pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, and charting.
• Conduct onsite labs: EKG, PFT, glucose, urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, welcoming exam rooms and deliver strong patient service.
• Occasional travel to assist other local clinics as needed.

Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
