Baptist Health is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join Baptist South Internal Medicine in Jacksonville, FL. You will perform back-office duties, room patients, obtain vital signs, and support providers in a busy primary care setting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of patient care experience, is proficient in clinical documentation, and holds or is pursuing CMA and BLS credentials. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a sign-on bonus available.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Certified Medical Assistant credentials are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides medical assistance to physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Rooms patients and obtains vital signs.
• Greets and chaperones patients during visits.
• Maintains accurate medical documentation.
• Schedules care, treatments, and tests as directed by the physician.
