Job summary

US Fertility, the nation’s leading partnership of physician-led fertility practices, seeks a Medical Assistant (Back Office) for the Reproductive Science Center of the SF Bay Area in Los Gatos, CA. This role will float to the Menlo Park office, with a Tue–Sat schedule and a competitive hourly rate.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, lab specimen handling, patient care, and assisting with procedures, while providing compassionate support to patients and families.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Completion of a formal MA or Phlebotomy program preferred.
  • Minimum of one year MA experience in a healthcare setting.
  • 6 months of phlebotomy experience required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort with computer applications.

  • Maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations.
  • Ensure lab specimens are sent to the proper labs.
  • Document patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient records.
  • Utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels.

  • Assist with HSGs as needed.
  • Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance.
  • Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients.
  • Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, and communicate physician orders and instructions.
  • Provide pre and post-op education.
  • Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and families.
  • Support and promote excellence in customer service.

Opportunity Overview
We have an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant (Back Office) to join our team at Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area in Los Gatos, California. This position will float to our Menlo Park, California office.

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with weekend and holiday rotations
  • Compensation: $26 to $29 per hour (commensurate with experience)

In this role, the Medical Assistant will:
