• Complies with all policies and standards.

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain PHI for our patients; annual PHI training and UH policies apply.

A Brief Overview

The Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support in an outpatient setting. This role includes but not limited to rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting in the electronic medical record, assisting with procedures, supporting providers, and promoting efficient patient flow while delivering patient-centered care.
