Job summary

PeaceHealth seeks a Medical Assistant for Audiology Otolaryngology in Washington. This part-time, 0.50 FTE role supports physicians with patient prep, rooms setup, injections, and wound care under provider orders. Experience in a medical office and WA MA certification are preferred. BLS is required after hire.

Qualifications

• Accredited Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant program required.
• WA State MA Certification required; interim credential accepted with 12 months to obtain full credential.
• Minimum 1 year medical office experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and anesthesia interviews; record history and vitals.
• Set up exam rooms; maintain supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Administer injections, dressings, and simple wound management per provider orders.
• Assist scheduling of tests and follow-up appointments; maintain records in EMR.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth clinic operations; perform other duties as assigned.
