Job summary

Clinical Care Medical Centers in Winter Haven is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the Arthritis Management provider. Responsibilities include pre-visit planning, conducting medication reconciliation, and ensuring excellent patient experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, Medical Assistant Certification, and must be proficient in both English and Spanish. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred, along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience in executing treatments within scope of practice.
• Must have knowledge of computers, scanners, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-visit planning to enhance patient experience.
• Ensure vital signs are entered before patient visits.
• Assist the PCP with Health Risk Assessments.
• Perform medication reconciliation on the day of visit.
