MaxHealth in Arcadia is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to oversee patient care, prepare rooms, assist physicians with exams, and handle front desk tasks. The role spans front and back office duties in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Starting salary is $20.00 per hour, with benefits including health benefits, 401k, life insurance, long-term disability, paid holidays, and PTO. Hours are Mon-Fri 8:00am–5:00pm at 425 Nursing Home Drive, Arcadia, FL 34266.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• EMR/EHR experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00am to 5:00pm

Some phlebotomy experience preferred.

Normal hours of operation are Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

As a Front Office Representative, you are directly involved in ensuring that we always deliver focused and empathetic patient care. You thrive in this patient-focused environment as you greet patients warmly upon arrival with compassion, schedule appointments, assist patients with any necessary forms or paperwork, and maintain confidentiality throughout daily tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FRONT OFFICE REPRESENATIVE

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of computer software programs including Word, Outlook, and Facility software systems required. EMR/EHR experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful.
