Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history
• Assist medical professionals during examinations and procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments are readily available
• Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
• Coordinate patient appointments and manage office communications in an efficient manner
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and proper skincare practices
• Ensure all examination rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies
  
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred
• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role within a clinical environment
• Familiarity with medical terminology and practices specific to dermatology
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and uphold patient confidentiality
• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail in a high-paced environment
