The Medical Assistant Apprentice is a student in training (MA Trainee), mentored by a Fred Hutch Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C). The role prepares the trainee to take the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam through the National Healthcareer Association. The apprentice works alongside a preceptor, learning to manage patient flow, perform clinical duties, and participate as a team member. The program aims for 2000 hours of training over one year, sponsored by WACMHC and accredited through SSC.
This position is located at Overlake Cancer Center, Bellevue. The role requires working 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, starting as early as 7:00am.
The hourly pay range is $24.02 to $34.19, based on experience and qualifications.
