Job summary

The Apprentice performs patient care, technical and clerical tasks under supervision of the Program Manager, Practice Manager, and/or Supervising RN.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, medication administration and point of care testing while supporting the practice's needs and the organization's mission and values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• College courses in Medical Assisting required.
• Must be enrolled as a current student with Wake Technical Community College.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Perform medication administration and point of care testing as directed.
• Support clinic operations with clerical tasks and patient flow.
