Job summary

The IMA Group in Albany, NY is hiring a Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. You will support providers during patient evaluations, take vital signs, and help with phlebotomy and EKGs, contributing to thorough medical assessments.

Starting pay is $18.50 per hour with a full benefits package from day one. The role may require occasional travel to our Poughkeepsie location; rotating hours 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM with some Saturdays; no on-call duties.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; MA program preferred.
• Healthcare experience; MA certification a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and strong interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, detail-oriented approach; flexible with attendance.
• Willingness to travel to Poughkeepsie location.
