NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant for the AIM Clinic on Day Flex. The role focuses on compassionate patient care, greeting patients, coordinating appointments, and supporting staff to maintain efficient clinic operations.

The ideal candidate has completed a Medical Assistant program and holds a HS diploma or GED, with bilingual English/Spanish desirable. On-site duties include vital signs, blood draws, and directing patients through the clinic.

Medical Assistant - AIM Clinic - Day Flex

Provide compassionate patient focus and superior customer service -keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly. Coordinate appointments and perform general clerical duties at the unit nursing station to assure the timely, efficient and accurate flow of patient information. Assist practitioners and Management by performing blood draws and taking vital signs of patients in clinic. Welcome and direct visitors and hospital colleagues to appropriate areas. Cultivate a courteous and respectful demeanor while multitasking between people and responsibilities.

This full time position will require working:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM and Tuesday and Thursday 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM , No weekends or holidays.

Preferred Criteria

Experience with Internal Medicine and Specialty in an outpatient setting or experience with family practice in an outpatient setting Bilingual English/Spanish
