This position is for our Mohs Surgery team, requiring travel to Tampa, Clearwater, Valrico, and Hudson offices (mileage reimbursement provided).

Responsibilities
  1. Escort patients, confirm identity, and record vital signs.
  2. Organize patient flow and prepare procedure trays and specimens.
  3. Respond to patient inquiries and maintain equipment and supplies.
  4. Document medical instructions and assist with procedures, including injections.
  5. Maintain HIPAA compliance and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. High School diploma or GED; Medical Assistant or related program completion preferred.
  2. Experience with vital signs, injections, and EMR systems.
  3. Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10 codes.
  4. Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to travel.
Licensure & Education
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • 1-2 years clinical experience preferred; dermatology experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to handle materials and exposure to chemicals and biological hazards.
