Job summary

Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, MI is hiring a Medical Assistant to join our clinic team. You will work alongside providers, room and prepare patients, perform vital signs, and complete both clinical and administrative tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Credentialed Medical Assistant per Munson credentialing organization.
• BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• One year of relevant experience in a physician practice or similar setting for non-credentialed applicants.

Responsibilities

• Room and prepare patients according to clinic checklists or procedures.
• Measure weight, height, O2 sat, respiration, temperature, pulse and blood pressure.
• Complete required patient care documentation including medical histories and referrals.
• Assist with day-to-day clinic operations and support fellow team members.
