Job summary

Inova Health Nursing Services Float Pool at ICPH in Fairfax is seeking a Medical Assistant 2 for a full-time, day-shift role. You will perform routine patient care, assist with exams, injections and phlebotomy, and help manage patient flow and records.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification required upon start.
• CMA certification upon start or CMA eligible.

Responsibilities

• Perform general patient care including blood pressure, height/weight, and patient flow.
• Assist with exams, injections, phlebotomy, and basic procedures.
• prepare patients for examination and relay instructions to families.
• check schedules, organize patient flow, and support staff during visits.
• maintain accurate medical records and assist with clerical tasks.
