Community Health Delivery Sys - Kendall has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Medical Assistant (MA) 2. The role involves performing multi-skilled tasks to support healthcare providers, assisting in patient management, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met under supervision.
Caring Science: The MA 2 provides compassionate, culturally competent care, fostering a healing environment and supporting patients' emotional and spiritual needs.
Organization and Work Role Functions: Prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, participate in team activities, and ensure compliance with regulations like HIPAA. The role involves clinical and clerical duties, including vital signs, lab tests, medication administration, and documentation.
Core Qualifications: High school diploma, graduate from an approved Medical Assistant program, and certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, or NRCMA). Additional certifications include BLS and HIV/AIDS.
Experience required: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant role.
